MY MUSIC EXAM

My music exam was very, very difficult.  I got 8 in  the exam.  There were nine questions.  There was one true or false question, one question where we had to define the words and seven question to complete.  The most difficult question was question two.

THE BAND

The band is a group of people playing different instruments, wind percussion and string.  It plays in all of Xeraco’s festivities. I am not normally in the band.  I usually play the orchestra.

OUR CONCERT

We celebrate our concert three times a year. The concert is to show what the pupils have learnt. In the concert there are many different instruments. This shows the pupils’ levels and the teachers’ levels too.

Summer Violin Classes

In summer, we also have violin classes. There are new books.  They are very, very difficult.  The violin class is on Mondays.  It’s for one hour and for one month. It’s at six o’clock

MUSIC LESSONS

My music lessons are divided into four parts: violin, violin group, music theory and choir. In Music theory classes I learn about music theory. In the choir we sing songs and learn about composers. The difference between the violin and the violin group is: In violin, the musician plays individually but in the violin group the musician plays with other musicians in group.

HOW TO LOOK AFTER YOUR VIOLIN AND BOW

HOW TO LOOK AFTER YOUR
VIOLIN AND BOW

It is very important to look after your violin and bow.
You must always clean your violin after using it.
You clean the violin with cloth and also the bow. The resin serves for cleaning the strings of the bow.

THE VIOLIN

THE VIOLIN

This instrument is a very interesting instrument to play.
The violin is a string instrument.
This instrument, the violin, has got four strings.
You play the violin with a bow. They are usually brown.
There are three sizes of violins: 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4.
My violin is the 4/4 size.
